Watch Now: Cultura de la Cancha Season 1

Following its United States debut with Telemundo Deportes, the complete first season of Cultura de la Cancha will be available to watch globally on YouTube - with new episodes releasing every Thursday during the 2026 World Cup.

Created by Impacto Creative in coproduction with Pegasus Content, the first season of Cultura de la Cancha explores Latin America through football - focusing on stories from the communities, identities and histories that surround it.

The first season takes audiences across Argentina, Uruguay, Chile, Peru and Colombia. Along the way, we visit some of the continent’s most iconic football institutions, including Argentinos Juniors, Peñarol, Palestino, Alianza Lima and Atlético Nacional.

From Telemundo Deportes to a global audience

The launch of the series through Telemundo Deportes marked a major milestone for the project.

It introduced Cultura de la Cancha to Spanish-speaking audiences across the United States and gave these stories a home alongside one of the most recognised names in Latin American sports media.

Following that launch, we wanted to make sure the series could also be discovered by audiences everywhere - including the communities featured in the documentaries, football supporters across Latin America and people around the world who believe the game represents something much bigger than ninety minutes.

That is why we chose to release the complete season through the official Cultura de la Cancha YouTube channel.

Why YouTube?

From the beginning, our ambition has been to make Cultura de la Cancha accessible.

The people who opened their homes, clubs and communities to us are at the centre of this project. Releasing the series on YouTube means those contributors can watch and share their stories freely, wherever they are.

It also reflects the wider vision for Cultura de la Cancha.

We do not see this as a single documentary series, but as a brand that can continue to grow - exploring new countries, clubs, communities and cultures through football. YouTube gives us the opportunity to build that journey in public and form a direct relationship with the audience around it.

Our aim is to create a global community of people who believe football represents far more than what happens on the pitch. A community built around shared stories of identity, belonging, heritage and social impact.

Each episode can become the beginning of a wider conversation, connecting supporters from different clubs and countries through the experiences that unite them.

Alongside the complete episodes, we will continue sharing additional interviews, short films, behind-the-scenes content and stories from the people we meet throughout production. By bringing all of that content together in one place, the channel can grow alongside the series - and alongside the community that forms around it.
